Swakopmund Namibia



 A break from the 40 degree weather inland to 18 degrees on the coast at Swakopmund. 

Not much incentive to go for an ocean swim, neither the 10 degree water or the riptides seemed appealing.

    I'll take 18 over 38! Looks like you're both either enjoying the beach, or preparing to build an igloo - and no Olyphant dung in sight! Park that spade! 😃

A beautiful mountain town. Most of the buildings are painted blue. Very clean with an unbelieveable amount of ferel cats. Went on a mountain hike through the Rif mountains that was quite strenuous but had a wonderful home cooked lunch at a gite at the end before taking a 4×4 vehicle back to the hotel.
